Dear John,
Many thanks for your observation. We have informed the curators of the error. The curatorial team are only able to access and repair issues in the exhibition at times when the gallery is closed to the public; this would be on Mondays. Additionally, the materials used to restore/replenish aspects of the exhibition, i.e. labels, must be consistent therefore, the correct materials must be on hand. We/the curators take errors very seriously and I assure you that we will be correcting the problem as soon as time and materials allow.
Again, that you for your concern and keen observation.
Kind regards,
Sarah Jaffray

Visiting the exhibition yesterday I was struck by a glaring spelling mistake right at the beginning. In the section on Havelock Ellis. Arthur Symons is spelt as Symonds. Mentioning this I was told the curators have been informed but have not corrected it. I feel this is serious and ought to be put right.

John Moore
